Wiser than Serpents

May 10, 2008 at 8:03 am (Uncategorized)

I was visiting author  Susan May Warren’s website.  Susan has written a book called Wiser than Serpents with the plot of human trafficking.  A percent of the proceeds with benefit the International Justice Mission.

I entered her Fight For Justice Contest: WHAT WOULD YOU CHANGE, FOR JUSTICE SAKE, IN OUR WORLD TODAY?

I posted my entry on my dappled things blog since I have already written about one of my special causes, the plight of human trafficking.

Wiser than Serpants raises awareness for this critical issue.  Susan explains that it “is written from the point of views of the rescuers, not the victims, and offers hope and empowerment, instead of feelings of helplessness.  It raises awareness without lowering the standards of Christian fiction.”  This thriller is a continuation of the is a continuation Susan’s Mission:Russia series.  The heroine’s sister is snatched through a Russian dating service, and disappears.
